Wedding Preparation: Choosing a venue
Friday, May 30, 2014 // 1:30 PM

I used to have lots of dreams and ideas about my wedding but when it is really happening, all I wanted was to get it over and done with. :(

Furthermore, I was unwell at that time and was super lazy + lethargic.
Went to a few hotels and restaurants and we decided to hold the wedding at Peach Garden @ OCBC Centre.

To be honest, wasn't really keen in holding the wedding there because the price is more expensive than the hotel I wanted. :/ But the hubby was in love with the food there so I relented. (He was super happy that everyone told him the food is super good)

Furthermore, it's a chore to shuttle between hotel & restaurant.

Lesson learnt: Never hold your wedding at expensive restaurants cos we suffered a loss. Hahahaha

Some photos of the banquet venue:

The only advantage is that my guests can enjoy this view while waiting for banquet to start. Lol

Hello 2014
Saturday, January 4, 2014 // 3:22 PM

Goodbye 2013... I'm glad I'm done with you.

First half of 2013 was too good to be true. Sometimes, it had me thinking what I did to deserve all these happiness. It was tough with all the money issues but I was truly happy and I didn't mind suffering.

Went to Taiwan with my mother and aunt. It's fun bringing then around in my favorite country!

Had shirt trips to Malacca and Cameron Highlands. Unfortunately, was a tad disappointed with Cameron highlands cos it's not that cold. Haha..

Got a new job.. Again. (Talk about planning ahead for the future....:/)

But I made some awesome new friends there. :)

Came the second half of the year where things started changing. I hate whatever that happened to me and I no one can treat me the way you did.
But amazingly, I forgave you and I don't know how I did that.

I finally understood the saying:
When a character of a man is not clear to you, look at his friends

Most people look to befriend people exactly like themselves, or at least who they aspire to be.

Thankful for all the friends who were there for me when I hit rock bottom...
We got angry together
We got upset together
We cursed and swore together
We traveled and went on a relaxing short trip. It made me discover there's still many beautiful things in life to smile for.

Though things went back on track for my life, I've been troubled with trust issues but that takes time to heal isn't it?

I hope 2014 will be a better year for me and all of my lovely friends and family.

Montigo Resort; Batam Day 2 & 3
Saturday, December 21, 2013 // 11:27 PM

13 October 2014

Woke up bright and early for the resort's breakfast!

Took a dip in the empty pool after breakfast. (▰˘◡˘▰)

Bumped into Shir's ex-colleague!

Back to our own pool! Super love the marshmallow popcorn we bought at city area!!

We spent the whole afternoon lazing around the pool, taking afternoon naps and watching tv. If only life is like that everyday... (●⌒∇⌒●)

Went up to the balcony at L3 to catch the sunset and take photos!

Took hundreds of shots until were were sweating. LOL

Instead of room service, we went to the seafood restaurant to have dinner.
Cheap and good!!

14 October 2014

Gonna miss waking up to this view... :(

All the empty bottles. We should bring more moscato next time round. ;)
End of our short and fun vacay! Can't wait for the next one! :D

Mandatory shot at the door step. :p

Huge living area

Our very own pool!

Washroom @ Level 1

Master bedroom @ L2

From the window of our bedroom

Guest room that we did not use

Hao-lianing cause she's done with the small float. Hahaha

After unpacking, we got the resort staff to call us a cab to the city area so we could get snacks + beer. :D

Highly recommended by Shir/ Fidel (can't remember who...)

Greedy us!
Partying starts now! :D

We were told there's gonna be a DJ spinning at the public pool / bar area so we popped over.
Turned out to be soooo boring and we would rather be back in our villa. Hahahaha

Bubble bath with the girls cos the bathtub is hugeeee!
