Taiwan Day 3 - 清境，奥万大 [CingJing，Awonda]

Supposed to wake up at 5plus in the morning to prepare and reach Taipei Main Station at 6.45am....
But I had a sleepless night and fell asleep at 3am...
Woke up only when the ego-bus person-in-charge called my mobile...
._.
Anyway, she's nice enough to tell me other alternatives I can get to the bus, which is to take the 高铁 and reach Taizhong by 9am.
Prepared and checked-out of the hotel within half an hour. Rushed to get the next available 高铁 to Taizhong.
I made it!!! :p

Reached 清境 after a dangerous mountain drive in less than 2 hours....
Unsure of the minsu location and the person dropped me at the wrong place.
Had to walk around with my luggage and look for cabs. Boooooo..........

After boarding the cab, the driver didn't know the way and I had to call the minsu guy to ask for directions...

And.... my minsu is just beside the famous Old England (The most expensive minsu in CingJing...)
So many bad stuffs to start off my relaxing holiday....

The salesperson in Taiwan also super good. Managed to psycho-ed me to upgrade to a bigger room... Or was it my problem....?

Left my luggage at the minsu and went out! Did not want to waste any more time!

Felt that the place I'm going is actually quite near to the minsu and there's no cabs in sight..... So I made the worst decision of my life...
I decided to walk UPSLOPE. The sun is so big, the road is so steep, the air is so thin. I almost died. LOL.

Explored the surrounding places before the driver picked me up for the 'Awonda 奥万大' trip.
The 2nd wrong decision of my life again... Went there during the wrong season and there's nothing much to see except bugs and trees... And there's hardly anyone around.
I wanted to see the Twin waterfalls and had to walk forest trails... Imagine the bugs, heat and sweat.
Oh, not to forget the poisonous bees and snakes...

After seeing the waterfall, I gave up on the rest of the big park... :p

On the way back, the driver stopped at some 原住民 restaurant to let me have my lunch/early dinner.
Awesome food! I never liked cabbages but I almost finished the whole plate of veggies.. Hehe.

Returned to the minsu and had a super shiok jacuzzi bath! Only when I was bathing, I realized I was sun burnt!! Oh my god!! I was wearing the top with holes on my shoulders so it was quite a funny sight. For the rest of my trip, the sunblock never left my bag... Damage is already done but... oh well....
Watched TV and when the sky turned dark, went to the 7-11 near the minsu to stock up on food!
Part of the road to 7-11 had no street lights at all and its kinda dangerous. I don't think cars are able to see me if they're from a distance away... Thank god for the flashlight in my iPhone!!
