MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

This year's Christmas was boring, but I had a happening X'mas eve!
(I think it was the alcohol) Hahaha.

Kas & JX wedding yesterday!
Woke up at 5am. Was so amazed I'm able to wake up on time cause I drank too much white wine the day before. Hahaha...

Went over to the bride's house and her make-up is alrdy done!

Ultimate Honey Drink (But we figured out it was too easy for them, so we added in a spoon of homemade chilli! Hahahaha)

Finally in!!

After coming in, we told them they had another 2 stages to pass. (Bride's room is locked)
HAHAHAH. Evil max.

First stage is to shuffle while listening to Party Rock Anthem. But after taking into consideration their age, we just asked them to do pole dance.
Second stage is to get the groom to sing 'You are my Sunshine'

Continued the drinking at the couple's suite. Played 5, 10 and made 1 of the brothers finished almost 1 bottle of red wine. Hahaha. YAY!

Went to Ocean Park. Was a really bad morning for me as I'm having migraine. :(

Wasn't that interested in the place cause after I've been to Disneyland, Ocean Park seemed like a boring place. :x

Went to the animals' show earlier and I actually slept. there. LOL.

Wanted to go to Giant Buddha but the queue was ridiculously long... :(

What a waste.

I've already fell sick by this time. :( The weather is too cold for my nose to take it. D:

Ended up, shopped at Citygate Outlets. Before that, had our brunch! :)

I'm so in love with roasted pigeons.

They have brands such as Burberry, Ralph Lauren, Kate Spade.
But there's not much difference in the price.

After awhile, left Citygate Outlets for Tsim Sha Tsui Sogo & Avenue of Stars.

Totally love the seaview. Exactly the same from those I saw in HK dramas.

I think this bank is also a tourist spot for Singaporeans. :p

Walked and walked along the handprints and finally saw 1 that we recognized!

Walked around and chanced upon the Clock Tower. It was in our itinerary initially but we sort of removed it since it's just a clock on the tower. Hahahah. :p

Then we chanced upon 1881 Heritage. OMG.
The place is like a scene from those fairytale romantic movie.
With the carousel, pretting lightings and beautiful Christmas Deco.. :)
We even saw a couple taking wedding photos there. :D

Go to every high-end boutique also must queue. I think Hongkies are too rich alrdy.
When we took the train, see lots of people carrying shopping bags from branded boutiques. Lol.
Walked along Nathan Road and we had a mango feast at 许留山.
I think the mango desserts & roasted pigeons are the only stuffs I miss in HK. :(

Woke up bright and early for breakfast at the hotel.
Going to Disneyland! Yayyyy!
Been wanting to go there since I'm a kid. :p

Our breakfast area is situated on a high floor cause we're staying in executive rooms. :D

Hong Kong - Day 1

As usual, overslept! Quickly prepared and checked out of the Shen Zhen hotel.
Took a train to Hong Kong. Was too lazy to train all the way to our hotel so we alighted somewhere and took a cab to our hotel! :)

After checking in, threw our luggages in the room and went to wander around our hotel area!
No photos of the hotel room cause seriously, it's comfy but not really nice.
For that amount of money spent on the hotel, I could have gotten a far better room in Taiwan. :p

Walking on the streets of HK seemed unreal for me.
Maybe because I've watched too much HK dramas and all these old buildings look so familiar! :D

But 1 thing I'm happy is I CAN FINALLY USE FACEBOOK & TWITTER!!!

Staying in Shen Zhen is like living in the mountains.
NO SOCIAL NETWORK AT ALL.

I totally forgot that China banned FB and Twitter and imagine how panicked I was when I couldn't login to these websites at all. Thank god I was only there for 4 days.

Sasa is practically everywhere!

BROADWAY - birth of my new camera

Broadway is also a commonly seen electronics store in HK. And the stuffs there are much cheaper as compared to SG. I got my Canon Ixus for less than 300. :S

After getting my new camera, my mood improved tremendously. LOL.
Took a cab over to Mongkok.

DISAPPOINTMENT.

The night markets are just like pasar malam in SG.... :( boring, nothing to buy.
After walking around in HK, I think I kinda miss Shen Zhen for their shopping. BOOO.

Breakfast in the hotel again. Followed by police station to make a report for my lost camera.
As expected, the police made me wait for a super long time and I decided to change police station (as advised by the chauffeur).
From what the chauffeur told me, depending on where you lost the camera, you have to go to certain police station to make the police report. Troublesomeeee.

What a bad X'mas eve!

After all the ding ding dong dong at the police station, went back to the HP factory to change the phone I got for my mum. And after that, went to 西华宫 for crazy shopping!
That made my X'mas eve a little better.

After all the shopping, went back hotel to rest. And then went to the Mac opposite to buy supper.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

Because my friend who's travelling with me had some work commitments, we didn't go any places in the morning (except factories). :s
So amazing, why China no holiday for X'mas ah?

Then we had a last supper with the chauffeur who fetched us around during our stay.
Had abalone and crab porridge cause it was so freakinggggg cheappppp!

Went to Sentosa Spooktacular with the GFs! It was a Friday and we were rushing like mad cause of some stuffs we had to finish. :(

Spent close to an hour in the ladies doing our make-up! LOL!

Shen Zhen - Day 2

August had been a real hectic month for me and my colleagues.
Busying ourselves with the company's new launch.
Can you imagine we worked till 5.30am?
Thank God for the long weekend which came along... :D

And its time to update on my travel diary!

23rd December 2010

It's really sad when I see my albums and could only post boring photos of food..... (my camera was lost). Can't wait to post about Hong Kong!

Breakfast at the hotel.
We're stuffing ourselves silly cause the food is so cheap!

After breakfast, we booked a cab and the chauffeur brought us to Luo Hu Commercial City.
If I'm not wrong, its the biggest mall around? And the mall that sells the most fake goods.
Haha... Feels like Sim Lim though... if you get what I mean... :p

After that, we went to this area which sells electronics. Lots of china handphones and apple products. Its good that we booked that cab cause the chauffeur follows you everywhere you go and recommends you great places to shop.

But I wouldn't recommend it if you go there cause firstly its kinda costly and secondly, you may not like the thought of talking to a China guy for so long? :p

The eerie carpark the chauffeur parked his car. Btw, its a bicycle section of the carpark. Lol.

After looking around at the factory, we went to a seafood restaurant.

BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU ORDER DRUNKEN PRAWNS!!
THIS IS WHY:
Ordered drunken prawns and then the waitress brought out a bowl of prawns (uncooked) and showed it to us, we simply nodded and thought she just wanna show us before the kitchen cooks it (just like how they always show us the crab before they cook it in Singapore)... BUT NO, she just left it on the table and we asked the chauffeur why it wasn't cooked.

So he told us that their country eats drunken prawns in that state. OMG. Gross to the max.
And I refused to eat it over my dead body. In the end, the chauffeur had some and he instructed the kitchen to cook it.

Ordered like over 10 dishes and it only costs SGD$142.
Too much leftovers and we gave it to the chauffeur to bring it home. Lol!

The food was tasty and I wished I could show you what we ate but........ I LOST MY CAMERA THAT FATEFUL NIGHT. ))):
And I lost it at 东门叮... Nothing to shop cause all the shops are mostly closed.
So I snapped lots of pictures but now gone.

I hope you get your karma, whoever that stole my camera!

21st Birthday Celebrations

Met up with Shermin, Kayslyn & Linny.
Sher wanted to treat me to a meal for missing out on my party!
New York New York for dinner!
It's also a mini celebration for me and Linny. ;)

We had so much fun & laughter catching up. Feels just like the past. :)

7 July 2011 (Thursday)

During lunch, our vendor treated us to lunch at Crystal Jade.
So so yummy!! :D

And after lunch, I was in for a peasant surprise...
It's a big bouquet of flowers from dearest Shermin!!

It's the biggest bouquet I've ever received in my whole life.
Isn't it awfully sweet to receive flowers from your gf?? :D

And the other bouquet is sent by my secret admirer. *wink wink*

The smaller bouquet came as a surprise as well. Less than 10 mins after receiving the 1st one,
the receptionist called my colleague and told her there's another surprise.
So this colleague asked me to go outside and meet the 'supplier' :D

And the colleagues decided to turn my work station into a florist. :D

After the 2 surprises, I was in for a third one!

Went to the receptionist again and when I tried to come in by the back door, it was locked.
After I opened it, our whole dept was dark and then I saw Eliza holding the birthday cake!
Apparently, they bought it secretly cause I forgot to buy it when we were out for lunch.
LOL!

This marks the end of my 21st birthday celebrations!
Thanks to those who made this a memorable one. <3

It's the first time I went out with my god daughter!
Was a fun and exciting trip.
Can't help but praise her for being such a quiet good girl (for most of the time :p )

And since it wasn't the peak hour, we took the public transport!
Lil girl is very very KPO and keep looking around. :)

Just quarelled with a friend again. Apparently, it's not the first time we snapped at each other.
Or rather, I snapped at her.

I didn't mean to. But any normal person would. How can a close friend of yours be so unsupportive of you?
Till the point that I feared letting her know of my life.
I'd rather not talk to her about my life and talk to someone else. Because I know what the outcome would be.
"See, I told you." will be all I'm hearing.

I feel disasppointed that all these while, she did not get what I was trying to tell her. I only wanted to tell her I needed a supportive friend.
But instead, all that she told me were sarcastic blessings. And I don't need that, really.
She told me she can't be wrong in seeing someone.
Sometimes, every word I said had a hidden meaning. I guess you couldn't catch it.

I've been asked to wake up from my idea. But I'm always awake.
In terms of maturity, I can't help but admit that I'm way too mature for you to handle.
You give me the feeling that you're still living in 2007 you know?
Those immature ways of behaviour, talks and stuffs.
Your fault is not because you cared too much for me, oh no, you're not that noble.
You just don't wish to admit other mistakes of yours. (Proof of not matured enough)
& what's the first thing you did after the argument? Called someone to let her know about it so someone would pity you and take your side. (Another proof of immature..)
FYI, in what ways have you been pampering me as a friend? In what way have you given in to me?)

I'm sorry to say this, but I have too many friends who did so much more than you, be it pampering, caring or giving in. That's probably why I thought it was absurd those words came from you.

I have a lot of friends who will just be there for me when I trip and fall. But you? I think you'll be telling people, "I already told her so."
I was accused of showing off? Being pampered by my loved one meant showing off? If yes, then I'm guilty.
How many times have we forgiven you? Choosing bf over friends isn't our forte, it's yours. Don't ever forget that...

Take a step back and look at your life. How have you treated your friends?
I should have given you the cold shoulder from the day you betrayed my good friend.
Or was he the reason for all your attacks to me? Don't forget you were the one who got used to having a pampered life, who got used to having things without even having to pay. And you chose to betray the guy that would be good to you.
No one agrees with you for your betrayal. But we value our friendship and stood by you. Will you ever do that for us?

How could you even be dragging people down the water with you when confronted?

Shen Zhen - Day 1

I'm so sorry I took so long to update my Hong Kong & ShenZhen trip that took place last year.
Hahaha. Time really flies like a G6 you know?

Updating this trip reminds me of the camera I lost in ShenZhen! ): FML!
Reminds me why I don't like to China........

That explains why I have so few photos for ShenZhen.. ):
Make do with it yeah?

As usual, didn't sleep the night before cause of the early flight. :/
And the plan was to go Shen Zhen immediately for 4 days before returning to Hong Kong again.

Oh man...
It's been more than a month since my last blog post..
Don't wanna neglect my blog cause I want it to be filled with my happy/unhappy memories! :)

I've been busy with work... Except for the talks that I have to go, I'm loving every bit of the job. So... I'll try to adapt to it, I think?

I've been having loads of fun at work!

The busy work life that I enjoyed, the fun-loving colleagues and loads more. *smiles*
Have been uploading lots of photos into facebook. :D

Had an event at Isetan Scotts today. There's a fashion show over there as well as LIVE window showcase of the models. Reached there as early as 7.30am for full dress rehearsal..

Went to this Atas-looking mall to walk walk. Was out of my itinerary cause I don't know where else to go..

Had breakfast at the hotel.
Went shopping at Platinum Mall.
It's a damn nice place to shop!!! Bought a lot of stuffs from there!
Next time if I'm going there, I'll go with my gfs cause you'll get better prices if you buy more!!

Then we went to Naraya! -- The main purpose of my trip there. Heh.
The salesperson there followed us all around and helped me carry my shopping loots some more! Shiokkkkk. LOL.

Happy 2011 to everyone! :)

My New Year was spent at Changi Airport this year, at the duty-free shop. LOL.
Went to Shen Zhen/ Hong Kong from 22nd Dec - 31st Dec.
My first longest trip ever and I missed home and my dear friends terribly. :(

Will update more on my trip soon!

As for my New Year resolution........

I hope that things will get better in my life. 2010 has been a sucky year and I've really been through a lot a lot, compared to other 20-year-old girls.

And for the usuals (which happened almost every other year), backstabbed by a friend who claimed you're their best friend etc...
I've chosen to keep mum about it. I've chosen not to confront her. And yes, I believe I'm still her best friend. But not vice versa. :)

I've always wondered how I managed to stay alive and go through those horrible days. Wondered where I found my courage and where I hid my tears. :(

In 2010, I've gotten a job that I loved. And I've lost it. And I'm sure I won't find another job/ place that's like that again.
I've given up someone whom I thought was the one. Was a shocking move I made cause I thought I could never ever live without him. And due to that, I think I lost quite a fair amount of 'friends'.
But it's okay. I'm happy as long as the true ones stay. ;)

I'm still learning how to move on and not to make comparisons. It's hard but I'm trying.
Pray for me that I'll succeed? :)

Been stuck in China for the past 4 days, and today I'm finally in Hong Kong!!
Weather in China is cold, but on the 24th night onwards, it's freezing!!! ):
All my furry jackets are like no use at all. Hahaha.

Hong Kong is not a place for shopping. Shopped a lot in China though!

And I missed Twitter & Facebook so much!! Feel so disconnected with the world while I'm in China. So much to update!

Gonna turn in early, gg to Disneyland tomorrow.

Bangkok 2010- Day 1

As usual, didn't sleep the night before so I can sleep all I want in the plane. :D
Did some super last minute packing at around 12am..... Hehe.

Went to Changi Airport for breakfast and did some shopping before boarding the plane.

The reason why I love window seats. :)

Love going overseas cause I can dress up! (Which I don't normally do in SG)

Took a cab from the airport to our hotel. And imagine my shock when I saw this sign....

But luckily, our hotel is the building behind! Look at the nice lobby!! :)

Got to sleep in this big room and super shiok king-sized bed all by myself!! :D

After resting for awhile, we went to MBK. Could hardly contain my excitement after seeing the shopping mall!!

My first meal of the day. Weird. We're in BKK but we had western food for lunch.

MBK is so disappointing!! Didn't buy anything much except for a few stuffs for friends.... ):
After that, went over to Suan Lum Night Market. We're too early and so many stalls weren't even open yet. So we settled down at outdoor bar and drank coke. :D

The weather is intolerable and my mood is very very bad cause I'm sweating like a dog...........

Once in a while, I would sit down and think about those happy times that we shared, days when we would laugh hysterically like madwomen on the road. Can't deny that I kind of miss you all a little.

But thank you, for helping me to let go of those few thoughts I had. Once again, you've proven to me that my decision to leave was right. It has gotta be the smartest thing I've ever done in my 20 years of life.

Thank you for listening to 1 side of the story.
Thank you for jumping to conclusions.
But just take note, whatever I've done, can't be compared to whatever you did. Just a reminder, but when you go around pin-pointing others about their faults, think whether if you're so pure to that extent.

Last week busy-ing with Comex Show. And this week is our own show. 2 weekends burnt!
Next week got another show, but luckily only need burn 1 day. LOL.

Next Tuesday is my off day. I wanna sleep until the sun shines on my butt. LOL!

Went to YOG yesterday, thanks to Uncle Mel~~ :D
Went to the office in the morning, followed by meeting.

Hi to myself. Doubt anybody's reading this space except me. ;)

It's a Saturday night & I'm at home. It's only been 8 days since boyf left for Taiwan and I'm rotting during the weekends. I was so afraid of getting home early last night(cause I'll keep thinking of him), so Uncle Mel brought me along to his appointment with 1 of his friend/vendor? Other colleagues joined as well and we had dinner tgth followed by a drink at The Central. :)

I'm so uncertain of the life in front of me now. Since last time, I've always felt that I'm a fast learner in my job and I adapt to changes very fast, but I'm not sure about now. :( I keep pushing myself to learn everything and that I cannot fail but... ? For the whole of this week, I haven't been sleeping well and eating well. :( I really don't wanna fail and fall and smash my head so hard on the ground.

It's been an eventful week after boyf's departure for Taiwan. Never had I felt that I got so much to tell him. But I guess when he's back, everything's gonna be fine again. & for those small lil things that I wanna tell him, I probably forgot all about it. He's been calling me regularly too. :) Called me on Tuesday and then said the next call I receive from him will probably be 2 weeks later, after he's done with his outfield BUT he called me again yesterday!

Ok, I'm gonna stop ranting about my boyf.

On this day, a few months before I turn 20, it's gonna be the toughest day for me. I'm experiencing tremendous pressure of work, growing up and reality. Help. :(

Work has been occupying my life, for every weekday. & I guess I'm going to be free on every weekend this month cause boyf's flying off to Taiwan. :(

Went out with him to catch IP Man 2 last Saturday. Nice nice. Haha. I remembered in the past, I seldom go to the movies, unless they were horror movies. Hehe. :3 &&& I detest the angmoh in the movie lor... Zzz And I kept asking my colleagues and bf stupid questions.

Example:

Me: Eh.. how come got IP Man 2.. I thought Part 1 he die liao.

Colleague: He never die leh... Go watch it again!

Me: Never meh?? Ok la, maybe forgot liao.

And last Sunday, went to Serangoon to have dinner with his family. So scary. =S
